Next-Generation Researchers International Development (N-GRID) Program

1 Objective

This program is supported by the Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd. “Habataku Next Generation” Donation Program, which aims to strengthen the foundational research capabilities of next-generation researchers.

Under this call, the “Next-Generation Researchers International Development (N-GRID) Program” aims to pass on the international networks in which Nagoya University has been involved from internationally accomplished researchers to the next generation. It will enable next-generation researchers to expand and further develop their own international networks, thereby creating opportunities for international collaborative research.

This call supports next-generation researchers seeking to expand their international activities (see Section 9: Eligibility) by providing travel support for either (1) overseas travel by next-generation researchers or (2) invitation of researchers affiliated with overseas institutions.

In this call, the initiative of next-generation researchers is regarded as one of the most important elements. Accordingly, we particularly welcome applications from Nagoya University researchers who are interested in establishing and further developing relationships through (1) overseas travel.

2 Application Procedure

Application documents are accessible to Nagoya University faculty and researchers only.
