Nagoya University provides a range of support services for international students. This page outlines the main services available through the Global Engagement Center and other university units.

Advising & Counseling Services (ACS)
Global Engagement Center Advising & Counseling Services (ACS) Student Counseling Center Inclusive Learning Division
ACS provides advising and counseling for international students on the following:
- Mental health
- Adjustment to new environment
- Social welfare systems
- Interpersonal relationships
- Opportunities for co-learning and intercultural exchange, on and off campus
ACS staff include advisors, counselors, a certified psychologist (公認心理師), and a psychiatrist. Consultations are available in Japanese and English.

Student Support
We offer counseling and consultation on mental health, future career paths, and how to perform to the best of abilities.
Student counseling (学生相談室)
Career Support Center
Career counselors provide guidance on career path decisions, job-hunting preparation, and employment. Seminars are held regularly.
Ability Support Center
Individual support plans based on assessed needs, covering physical, mental, and developmental disabilities. Covers academic accommodations and coordinates with relevant university offices.

Harassment consultation
The Harassment Consultation Center handles all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment and academic harassment, for all university members. Consultations are confidential.
