ＧＣＰ（Global Chinese Program）：華東師範大学の協定大学の学生のみが申し込めるコースで、午前中は中国語を、午後は英語を用いて中国に関する講座（中国経済と世界経済、中国の近代化など）が開講されている。注意点は、1学期間の中で午前の中国語講座は1学期の途中（大体2ヶ月）で終了してしまうという点と、このコースの場合、午前中は中国語強化コースに混じって授業をうけるため、午後に開かれているスピーキングの授業に参加出来ないことである。ただ、午後の授業は本格的で、文献や論文などを読み学生や教員たちと盛んに意見交換したり、グループを作ってテーマについて発表したりする機会や、課外学習として上海内の施設を訪れる機会などが設けられている。
Standard Chinese Language Program：中国語学習に焦点を当てたプログラム。ＧＣＰの午前の中国語の授業も同様であるが、学生たちは渡航前のオンライン面接、入学時のテストなどによってレベル分けが行われる。また、授業開始から一週間の間にレベルの違うクラスを受講することが認められているため、自分のレベルにあったクラスを選択することが可能である。このコースはＧＣＰと比べて中国語の学習に特化しているため、曜日ごとに総合・スピーキング、リスニング、新聞読解というようにすべての範囲を網羅したカリキュラムとなっている。このコースは午前のみしか授業がないため、その代わり宿題が少しだけ多い印象だそうである。しかし午後に週1回の補講が開かれており、ＨＳＫの対策講座や発音改善の講座が開講されている。ただ申し込みは早い者勝ちで人数に制限がある。過去の派遣学生は水墨画の授業を受け、中国文化と触れ合うことができたそうである。成績は出席や授業態度、中間テストと期末テストの結果によって決められる。華東師範大学は上海の4大名門校の一つであるが、その中でも教育と中国語教育に力を入れており、外国人向けの中国語講座は非常に人気だという。過去の派遣学生によれば、中国語学習に集中したい人はこちらのプログラムをお勧めするとのことである。
